Subject: Request regarding Industrial Training to the M.Sc./B.Sc. Students of Food Technology
Dear Sir,
The Institute is running M.Sc. / B.Sc. degree programs in Food Technology since last five years. The Curriculum of the Degree programs have been integrated with scientific knowledge of microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology and engineering with the Technology of Food preservation, processing, packaging and storage of Plant and Animal Foods.
To have an optimal mix of theoretical and practical knowledge, Industry interaction and entrepreneurship motivation among the students is highly emphasized. In this respects, visit to the Food Processing Plant and on Plant Training like activities are arranged during Session break / Summer break ( May- June) of every year. Regarding it, The Institute is getting a continuous, welcome cooperation from a number of Institutes and Food Industries of our country. The Institute recognizes their efforts and is thankful for it.
Again, it is requested to all those with whom our mutual interaction can provide the nation with technical personal through efficient human resource development. Please, permit a few of the students to undergo first hand industrial training of two to four weeks at your Food manufacturing unit. Students will make their own arrangement of stay and are not require to pay any kind of stipend etc. Please send your acceptance as early as possible. The student may approach you personally, treat him/her as being permitted by the Institute.
I hope that our mutual interaction shall not only benefit the students but shall also be useful for our mutual development. Your cooperation and advisement to improve the quality and productivity of our students shall be highly solicited.
